Website design services for small businesses

A five-page site, drawn for your business rather than picked from a theme gallery, built to be fast on a phone and taken live on your own domain. Quoted in writing, in US dollars or euros, before anything starts. Seven to ten days.

How the quote is made

Most agency sites make you fill in a form to find out whether you can afford them. Here the first step is a free audit call: thirty minutes about your business, your customers and any site you already have. You get a written quote the same day or the next — one fixed figure, in US dollars or euros, for a defined scope, with a start date and a delivery date. If it is wrong for you, you have lost half an hour instead of three weeks.

What it does not include

Being specific here is what keeps the quote from moving later.

How it runs

  1. We talk. A free thirty-minute audit call about your business, your customers, and any site you like the look of. If you already have a site, send the link first — I render it before we speak.
  2. I quote it. Fixed figure in US dollars or euros, fixed scope, a start date and a delivery date. Nothing begins until you agree to all four.
  3. You send content. This is the step that decides whether we finish on time. The build is never the bottleneck.
  4. I build it. You see it on a live preview link, not in a slide deck, and you comment on the real thing.
  5. Two rounds of changes. Then it goes live on your domain, and I show you how to work it.

Already have a site? Do not commission a rebuild before you know whether you need one. The free audit call measures what is actually wrong with the current one — I render it page by page in a real browser before we talk. Occasionally it concludes that you do not need me.

Why one person rather than an agency

At an agency, the person who understands your business is in sales, the person who designs it has your brief second-hand, and the person who builds it has never spoken to you. Each handover loses something, and you pay for all three plus the office.

Here, the person who quotes it is the person who draws it and the person who writes the code. Nothing gets lost between them because there is no between. The trade-off is real and worth stating: I am one person, so I take a limited number of projects, and I cannot answer at three in the morning. If you need a team on call, you need an agency, and you should budget accordingly.

Questions people actually ask

What do I need to have ready before we start?

Your text, your photos and your logo if you have one. I design around what you supply — I do not write your copy and I do not shoot your photos. If none of it exists yet, say so at the quoting stage and we plan for it, rather than discovering it in week two with the build already half done.

What if five pages is not enough?

Extra pages are quoted per page at build time, which is cheaper than pretending five will do and then renegotiating. Most small businesses genuinely need five: home, services, about, contact, and one more that is specific to them.

How many rounds of changes do I get?

Two rounds during the build, and within those two, changes are unlimited — say everything you want to say. After the site is live, changes are chargeable: either a small job, quoted individually, or two a month on a care plan. This is the line that keeps a fixed quote fixed.

Who owns the site when it is finished?

You do — the domain, the hosting account, the files, all of it, in your own name from day one. I do not host your business on an account you cannot access, and you can move to another developer without asking me for anything.

Will it rank on Google?

It will be built so it can: clean structure, fast pages, correct titles, a sitemap, and Search Console set up. Ranking itself depends on your market, your competitors and the content you publish afterwards, none of which a five-page site buys on its own. Anyone promising you a position is guessing.

Do I need to be on a call?

Only the first one. Every project starts with a free thirty-minute audit call on WhatsApp or by phone — that is where the quote comes from. After that, most projects run entirely over email and messages, across time zones. If you want more calls we can have them, but nothing depends on it.
